The rogue mare catered softly over the rocky ground toward the lake. It was late and dark but she had no worry about being out late at night. She figured she would be safe to just get a drink. She had been running all day long so her thirst was heavy, and she knew there would be plenty of water for her to help herself to. She listened out to the sounds of her hooves, and they hit the ground heavier and heavier as she fastened her pace toward the lake.
With her destination finally in sight, she slowed again. The lake was less that twenty yards away, and she trotted toward it swiftly. There were a small cluster of shrubs to the side of the dirt path she was on, and they led way to a small forest of trees and she froze as she heard twigs break. Was that hooves? She hadn't expected to run into another beast tonight. She did not feel like a fight.
She turned her neck and her head toward the noise, her beads staring fearlessly toward the source. There was the sound of hooves again. She now turned her who body round so that she was facing the forest head on. She wasn't ready to run if it was a predator, but if it was another horse she was prepared to do what it took to keep herself alive.

The Lesser Goddess Of War. The Fallen Angel Enyo 'Torture Is But A Game' I had been around here for most of he day, hiding away from the stallions just wanting to be left alone. But evening had fallen and so far it was silent, then the rushed sound of hooves falling against the ground ahead of me sounded. Someone was drawing closer, I could but hope that it wasn't a brute coming.
I wasn't affraid, no matter whom it may be tanding facing the area I now started to walk toward. Slow carefull steps carried me forward, my white bodice gently weaved through the area, and as I broke through the trees I found a mare standing facing me with about as ilttle fear and I held. Neither one of us was affraid, but at the same time neither seemed to want to fight.
Standing back I watched the mare who was of a slightly darker coat than myself, I did not smile nor did I speak. For now the only moves I made was to breathe and to blink. Other than that I was standing frozen like a statue watching and waiting to see if this mare would attack first and ask questions later, or speak first and fight should she need to.

A deep breath traveled into the large stallions' lungs, filling his chest. The grey orbs traced all edges of the land, looking for a mare. One to carry his lineage, or more then one. Whatever teh number, it was fine. As long as they were none of the bleeding-hearted southerners, who did everything "nicely". Ha! Zane placed a single dish sized dagger onto the ground, listening to the ground, he smirked a bit when he heard it squish under his sudden addition of weight. Ebonite bod moved forward, granite-hued lanterns still looking.
Orbs fell apoun two mares, standing rather close together. A grey and a white. The ivory hued mare seemed tense, the two were either in an arguement or they did not know one another. Either way, it was perfect for the ink hued brute. Picking up speed, he trotted towards them, stopping only when he was close. There was little space left in-between the three horses. Well - it was as close as he could get, seeing the two mares were in near battle postions; at least the white one was. "I am Zane," he spoke, wondering if they knew he was teh northern king, it would be fun to tease them, or perhaps it was just boredom. "Now tell me, who are you two?" he asked, nearly a demand in tone. Eyeing the two mares, they seemed more femine like, not as strong as teh liver chestnut he was fighting for. Oh well. They can still bear a foal.
