tears are words{RAYLYNN} the heart can't say
I was still. Perhaps it was the sheer hopelessness of my situation, perhaps it was the fact that I was tired. I didn't really care anymore. My hooves ached, tired from running across the wastelands, trying to avoid all the other poor souls that wandered across it.
I sighed, ebonite pelt shining with sweat. Heat filled the air above the small cliff, at it snuck into my already warm body, making my moan and push my head at the ground, hoping to find some cool mud. I closed my dark orbs, perhaps hoping for everything to be a dream, a nightmare. But it wasn't. I opened my vision once more, trying to deny the horrible fact that had haunted me all day.
I was in heat. Bitterness filled my feeble frame as I cursed the one that made me, made my race. Why did cruelty stalk the land? I shook my head, staring at the small drop that I stood over. I knew it could not kill me. So why was I here?

The God Of The Moon The God Of War Ares 'I'm A Nice Guy' Today like each other would be a fun day, because I was visiting the captive lands, maybe I would find another mare to torment and possibly force to carry my line along, I already had a filly back home, or wherever she was now. But a couple more at least would make me happy, but more so beause I would watch the suffering, hear the screams.
I left my realm and set foot on thsi ground once more, my height greatm the fear that cloaked me still intact, my obsidian pelt clean, obsidian eyes watched ahead waiting for a scream or something showing me that a mare was around and suffering. But when nothing came I went looking.
just over 18 hands tall and of both Shire and Freisian lines I was an amazing brute, and the god of the north at that. Oh a mare, I could smell her near, then I saw her standing at the edge of the cliff. Standing a fair way behind her, a sadistic grin pulling at my black lips. a dark chuckle rumbling in my chest.
"Lo Slave, what is one such as yourself diong even considering jumping from there while I stand here, I could make death much more amusing. I am Ares, I'm sure you know me."

Words entered my ears, but I was far away. When I heard the brute speak his name, I snapped my head around, panic clutching at my already stressed mind. I gulped. What should I do? I couldn't see a way out, only down the cliff. And I saw no point in harming myself. I decided to be polite.
Bowing my head, I spoke my own name. 'Greetings Lord, I am Raylynn.' I brought my head up again, trying not to let his dark form out of my sight. I stepped to the side, not seeking to run, just to get myself away from the cliff. The panic seemed to have seeped away. I looked at the brute properly. he was actually quite handsome, but cruelty had disfigured him in my eyes.
'What binrgs you to these barren lands?' I was sure I knew the answer, but he was a God. I had to be polite. As slim as chances were, maybe he could let me off. I shook my proud head, slightly, legs trembling. There was no way this beast would let me escape.

The God Of The Moon The God Of War Ares 'I'm A Nice Guy' Ooh, respect, finaly someone who knew how a god should be treated, tho she never answered my question. I wanted to know why she was here and yet she seemed to ignore that, stamping a feathered hoof shooting her a glare a snort following I grunted.
"I beleive I asked why you were here, and for some reason I don't rember any reply to that, I do hope that was just because I didn't catch what you had said, and not because you never answered."
Oh how fun it was to toy with a mares mind, or at least try to. I am mean yes, I do try my best, but sometimes when I can be polite they seem ignorant, so maybe my harsh ways are the only ways to be respceted. Hey, she moved, I took a number of steps towards her so there was but five feet between us, I would slowly spin her around so I was between her and the cliff.

I nodded, bewildered. I had never heard his question- maybe I had mistaking it for something else? I saw the dark look of enjoyment on his face, and flicked my tail, worried. He moved slightly. I answered his question.
'I am here because I wanted to see the cliff, sire, perhaps in the hope of throwing myself off. I don't really know.'
The vagueness of my answer surprise even me. I took a few steps forwards, strangely towards him, though they were tiny. Perhaps I thought I could lull him into a false sense of security then run? Hopefully it would work, but I knew it wouldn't. A lead weight filled my heart. I decided to take a risk.
'Now I have answered your question Lord, will you answer mine?'
I smiled, trying to relax. i could make the situation seem better if I actually tried. Was I going mad? Maybe, maybe not. I didn't have time to think about it.
ooc| Hmm. That wasn't all too good, apologies. ^^'

The God Of The Moon The God Of War Ares 'I'm A Nice Guy' A heavily feathered hoof of mine struck the floor hard and fast, a snort flung from my mug as I listened to her reply, pain? she wanted pain? I could give her that, and it would be fun, for me anyway. As she stepped towards me I pushed another step toward her, maybe I could push her off the cliff then meet her at the bottom laughing, that would be fun.
"I was bored."
My reply short and simple, a smile still held up the corners of my black maw as I glared at the smaller mare, wondering what next I could, and would do to her. Pain was deffinatly in the picture somewhere, whether it was pain she caused herself or pain I caused her I was sure she would walk away suffering, if by the time I was done she could walk. Who knew, maybe I would stop her running.

I glanced at the cliff, walking backwards a little way. I knew that I would meet great pain if I fell, or was pushed, from the top. He didn't seem to be doing anything. Was he waiting for something? I watched a smile lay itself onto his mouth, and worry poured into again, panic flooding my throat. I choked back tears. I wasn't begging yet, but I probably would be soon.
I smelt another mare's scent on him. Another poor soul had met the god today. Looked like we were both in the same situation. I considered running, but after eyeing his long legs I decided not too. Begging? I felt disgusted, both by myself and him. He would willingly hurt for fun, and I would beg, offer anything to go free.
I could think of nothing to do. My muscles where tense, my throat blocked as I held back the tears that wanted to flow from my hazel eyes. I pawed the ground with one blunt hoof, staring at the ground, eyes bleak.
